Dirico Motorcycles builds charity bike for Home Base Program benefiting veterans and Ride For Our Heroes Charity Run.

The Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program are dedicated to improving the lives of veterans with de-ployment and combat related stress disorders and traumatic brain injury (TBI). Dirico Motorcycles is building an Old School retro motorcycle for the raffle to help raise significant funds to support this very important program for our veterans. The Home Base Program also helps families of the veterans, advances research and educates the public about TBI and stress-related disorders. Raffle tickets will be on sale from May through November 2011 at www.homebaseprogram.org/rideforourheroes

Ride for our Heroes is a true motorcycle enthusiast event to honor veterans and support the Home Base Program. The ride features starting points from locations throughout New England and will kick-off with a patriotic opening ceremony and acknowledgement of local military heroes. The ride concludes with a Rider Appreciation Party at Manchester Harley-Davidson in New Hampshire. It is one of the largest Harley-Davidson dealerships in America and always throws a great after-party for bikers and families. The ride will take place on Sept 24th starting at 10am.
